In MyLink, go to Settings->Software Information->Map. It will list a part number for the map. Mine was updated last year with the 2019 update map, and shows part number 84513064.

The new 2020 update is part number 84667844.

Update: installed the 2020 map update last night in the garage. Super easy.

Open the hood and hook up a battery tender
Press and hold the start button for 5 seconds without pressing any pedals. This puts the car in "Service Mode"
Insert the USB stick with the update
MyLink screen displays message that map is updating with a progress bar

It takes 50 minutes. When it's done the system will automatically restart. Remove the USB drive. Step 1 with the battery tender is probably optional.
