Suspension upgrades options
Installed a set of Powell YYZ springs along with some Vorshlag camber plates. The car also has Hotchkis Sport Suspension competition sway bars front & rear supported by Powergrid sway bar links.
What would be a good next step for the build? Thinking brakes or start working on the rear cradle. The car sees road coarse action and maybe some AutoX for what's left of the year. |

Solid rear cradle bushings or a lockout kit.

I did the write up diy on solid subframe(cradle) bushings. Its a huge difference, almost feels like you have stiffer rear springs and helps with predictability in turns

Since my M3 and now after adding the solid bushings to my SS 1LE, I could not see having a high performance car without the sub-frame directly bolted to the chassis, it really makes that much of a feel difference.

Do you have any issues with the new springs while keeping the same dampers? I have nearly the same setup as you, vorshlag camber plates and hotchkis sway bars, BMR end links front and rear, next step for me is springs and shocks, I'm still debating the GM performance lowering kit, or just get those same springs and keep the factory dampers, the thing stopping me from just getting the springs is I can't really find any aftermarket dampers by themselves to upgrade to down the road... |

Awesome, I cant wait. the main thing holding me back for the GM lowering kit is I wonder if the spring rates are still too soft for track duty, the powell springs seem like they're designed for the track.

I am trying to understand the nomenclature or suspension talk. My RS v6 rides like a horses ass now. What do I buy to resolve this? The GM kit for $1500? Who installs this? I'm in Long Island, NY
