I dropped my car off at the dealer and they said they couldn’t reproduce it. Of course not, that’s how it always seems to go. Shouldn’t they at least check for service bulletins or software updates before just telling me to be on my way?

I upgraded to iOS 13.2 last night.
I do not want to jinx myself, but today I had two perfect, fast MyLink connections—one with Bluetooth and another cable only. Both times, MyLink brought up Car Play rather than merely playing my iPhone 11 through the media app. I suspect that an issue with Siri was at least one of the issues that previously hung up iOS 13 and MyLink. |

I tried to tell a guy on the GM truck forums it was an issue with the new iOS, he was adamant it was his piece of crap GM vehicle that had broken and the dealer was pushing him off.

I just got a new iPhone 11 running IOS 13.2 and MyLink does not recognize my phone and initiate CarPlay. It is charging, but CarPlay does not come up.

Just to bump this thread, I have an iPhone 11 Pro (iOS 13.3.1) and MyLink does not recognize my device. Tried both ports, different cables, etc I have been trying to get it to work with my iPhone 11 Pro since I got it (I pre ordered) and every firmware upgrade renders the same results... MyLink does not see it.
Now I happen to have my old iPhone 6, plugging that in through USB, MyLink detects it right away and opens car play. Thought I would throw in my experience to add to the statistics. |
