OEM Bent wheel from track

Those of you who have had this happen what did you do? I am getting it fixed at a rim repair shop and plan on going with Apex wheels at the track. Has anyone noticed if the apex wheels are more durable than the stock?

I didn't particularly hit anything hard that I can remember. There is one kerb at VIR on the esses where there was a dugged out hole after it that may have been the cause.

Just curious, what's a typical repair cost per rim, when that happens?

It was $200 out the door to repair mine(wheel bent in 2 different places). That includes taxes, mounting/unmounting and balancing, took about 1 hour. I think smaller wheels are around $150 or so.

similar, think i was 180 being they are 20s . 150-200 id expect all in.

I decided to just powder coat mine and save a little in the end.

I paid $175 to straighten one (2022 ZL1 OEM front wheel) after I bent it and blew a tire at a Nashville Superspeedway TrackNight in America event a few months back. That included rebalance, etc.
