It does sound like it, huh, LOL. No I’m not messing with you it’s just if I remember correctly on the ZL1 post I believe some said they found a plaque on the back of their supercharger while others said they found them at the front of the supercharger on a flat spot located there. So far there doesn’t seem to be a real pattern to any of this. In fact I would check both sides of the intake cover as well as the back of it to be sure.

Just re read all the ZL1 posts about this topic, my mistake, all the plaques found on the ZL1 LT4 engine were located at the front of the supercharger. A member there made a comment about the plaque being located at the rear but that was incorrect information.

I'm thinking this is something on the newer cars as mine's an '18 and no one has mentioned this and a bunch of these have been pulled apart already. Someone would have mentioned the plaque.

I still think it's pretty cool.

Cool was the plaque located on the driver side lower corner of the intake manifold cover?

Just FYI I’ve made a post on the Corvette forum asking if the C7 Corvettes with the LT1 engine have this plaque or not.

A source at GM allegedly stated that future engines installed in the ZL1 will be hand built by the Performance Build Center at Bowling Green. To the best of my knowledge I’m the first one to find a LT1 engine with this plaque installed on it. Very curious indeed, and also kind of cool.

My C6 Grand Sport LS3 Corvette also has hand built and tagged engine.
All LS3 dry sump motors were hand built.

Good information. I kind of figured that certain earlier models of the Corvette would have this build and Plaque. Makes me curious on when this practice actually started. Thanks for your reply.
