ZL1 1LE in the snow. NSFL

This will probably break heart of every waxer out there. Yup.. it's snowing, yup, ZLE is on snow tires. It might even get washed this quarter..

Wheels: MRR FS02 19x10, +19F, +25R
Tires: Blizak LM-32 275/35 all around.

In retrospect, probably could have gone +25 all around, oh well.

What I didn't like: lug wrench holes are TINY.. i mean a thinwall 13/16 socket BARELY fit in the fkn hole. I was bout ready to weld smaller hex end on the stupid lock lug nuts.. which SUCK.

Next steps: LONGer lug nuts without silly lock single way key. Regular spline stuff is OK, keyed stuff is JUNK and pain in rear if you swap out wheels frequently, which during race season is every other weekend or so.

20 miles in impressions: ride about same as PS4S. Less straight line grip, but that may just be mold release talking. Back end like to walk around, again, was wet and white fluffy things falling, air temps mid 30's ground.. probably in 20's.

It's snowing now.. so we'll see how they behave when there is more of fluffy white stuff to plow.. or in this case, barge over.

Love it. Cars are meant to be driven, not waxed.

Personally I would never drive a ZL1 in crappy winter weather. Would get no joy out of it.

I'd have a $5-7K FWD beater to take that abuse.

I hear your great politicians want to tax text messaging as well so they can give free wireless service to all the migrants who don't have cell service currently.

For as often as I need a truck, cheaper to rent one. Last truck I owned was a ... gasp.. FORD w V8 and 8 ft bed and suicide door style cab. It was so fkn long, certain small streets and driveways were.. a challenge. Great truck, other than disintegrating exhaust manifolds and spark plugs that were not meant to ever be changed.

Perhaps a Ranger in future.. that ecoboost in focus made 350hp.

Yeah all the taxation BS here is ridiculous and raising a family where I live is beyond expensive. Luckily I'm single/no kids.

But the weather is so awesome here, I'll pay the bit extra. It's freakin' shorts/t-shirt running weather all year round.
