Drop in with engine still in car and cam
Very doable and much easier than pulling the engine. Use a engine hoist to lift the front of the motor and you can get the oil pan off and have room to get to the rod bolts bearings ect. U can leave all the front pieces on water pump ac ect. Will have to pull the balancer to get the oil pan off. If crosshatch looks good in the bore no need to hone at all.
Some say u can do a cam with the heads on and motor in the car. I have not tried it but I do know that radiator is a pain in the butt and I guess should come out the bottom. |

Damn, that probably would have saved a ton of time versus what my shop did
