Had an urge to polish it again. So I just gave it a full polish to strip off the other coating I had on it because I wanted to put a different one on.

Does anyone know if these wheels exist with a machined face? If so, what. is the design name?

It they do exist they would be replica wheels. I haven't seen any 1LE replica wheels with a machined face. Most of the 1LE replica wheels I've seen are either black or graphite in color.

Thanks!
Not sure if you received any good touch up advice but I’ll share my experiences. The biggest mistake is to make brush strokes. Best way is to “color between the lines” by loading the tip of the little brush with a drop of paint and dabbing into the chip without going onto the surrounding surface of the good paint. Let it dry for a minute and it will likely sink. If so, repeat by dabbing again until the chip is filled even with or slightly higher than the level of the surrounding paint. This will definitely produce better results than making brush strokes. After fully dried, I’ve had good luck with blending it a little bit, if necessary, with rubbing or polishing compound by hand. Hope you can picture this, and with a little practice you can become very proficient.

Got it washed and waxed (Meguiar's Ceramic) in prep for winter slumber. Still driving it a for more weeks, but at least its all set to go for when the time comes. A quick wash, oil change and plug in the battery tender!

took it out for a drive today for the first time since I polished it again and coated it with Gtechniq CSL last Monday.
This weekend might be the last hurrah for it before its basically parked for winter.

I pulled out a clay bar and used Turtle Wax's Hybrid Solution's Ceramic Spray Coating. I'm trying to use ceramic products, and will be applying a 2nd coat after waiting 24 hours.

I'm not sold on the TW Hybrid Solutions product. I definitely don't think it offers superior gloss or depth of color but my car is a darker color and I didn't want to rub a product into the paint, wait for it to dry and then buff out.

I'm also not sold on spending $1k for a professionally applied ceramic product, but, I'll see how this product holds up.

dont spend it. Ceramic coatings are very easy to install and are not expensive. The most user friendly one is Optimum Gloss-coat
https://www.autoality.com/store/pc/O...a-407p8537.htm

You do NOT need to polish the car if you are happy with the paint. Just do a good wash and maybe iron decon and then a panel wipe and install the coating.
