they send you a new tcm and a module that plugs in. then you tune in hp tuners

Not sure if its cracked they are selling the T93 TCMs for $800 each on their FB site. They might be unlocked by default.

It has the factory calibration in it, and you then edit the ECM and TCM accordingly. One tuner will want to do both.

So it is not Vin locked? Reason why I ask is that I purchased one from someone that never installed it. So don't know if I'm screwed or not.

Can anyone tell me what a tcm tune is worth on a bolt on a10 ss. It’s got a LT2 intake, so don’t need to rev it out.

You'll probably find answers ranging from: .2-.3 in the 1320' to no gains for that combination. It's my understanding if your torque is being limited, a TCM-tune will help, and you might find you can tune-out any stock short-shifting and optimize WOT-shifts at redline (or whatever is good for your combination).

Perhaps a better justification for this $1000 would be if you plan to grow beyond bolt-ons in the future. At that point, I'd bet you'd have grown beyond the stock torque limits, and a TCM-tune would be beneficial. At your current combination though, it might be a tough sell. If you want to optimize everything you have, though, it's probably worth it (especially if you grow in mods' later).
