Weird. My car is a SS but I could only get the plug to go in one way.

Is a shop helping you with the TCM edits?

Chuck told me there is a something in the connection (I know what it's called, but not enough coffee yet...) to cause an interference if it's plugged-in 180*, but as I told him, the effort it took me to connect it incorrectly wasn't much different than connecting the T93. It was a common enough occurrence with other customers that he said he might revise the instructions. Or he was placating in idiot, lol...

Just the tuning, I do all of my installs. The tune is complete for now unless I change something. But Ted at Jannetty Racing did a great job on the tuning.

Not trying to sound argumentative. Not my intention. Just trying to be specific in order to be helpful

What kind of power have you made with the 2650?

No dyno yet. I'm staying CA-legal, so I won't be making anything close to you guys. The Fun-NAZIs won't let me have too much fun here. Truth be told - this is about all the power I could want, anyways. Your guys' builds are amazing.

I thought you would need to adjust the cars tune for the transmission tune to work no?

Negative. You can tune the TCM independently of the ECM. You can have even more fun getting into the ECM as well obviously, but there’s a good amount in just the TCM that is worth digging into.

Nothing a flash can't take care of. I'm still evaluating this TCM as a worthwhile mod', as I haven't driven the car, and therefore not been able to evaluate it. We'll see. It would be a lot of work to do every couple years once it's necessary to start smogging.

There is a code to disable in the ECM... I need to see how necessary it is to turn it off for it all to work together, but I don't imagine HHP would say it's necessary if it weren't

I don't know what your budget is but Pray Performance has apparently tuned a bunch of Camaro ECM/TCM. Based on his FB page, it seems he's mainly a late model Camaro shop with lots of fast cars.

You're totally right. JLS's video with Pray's tuning is what really pushed me into getting into this little adventure. I have a guy helping me already that's been great in the past. If this falls through, I'd definitely be looking into Brett's tuning.

Thank you for the heads-up.
