I should first preface this with the question is NOT for my Camaro, its for my wife's car that sits outside, so not real worried about protecting it like I (and most of you) do about the Camaro.

I wash it semi-frequently to get the dirt/water spots off. Looking for a simple/easy/quick spray or coating that I can apply in which it's main function is to bead water after a wash so I can making drying it quicker. Basically the same effects of ceramic coat but something I can just spray on/wipe off a few times a year and its good to go (aka no polishing, curing, etc).

Anyone have any thoughts?

My Camaro is coated, and garaged. I might try this on my wifes car and see how long it lasts outside in the elements on an uncoated car.

You apply a heavy initial application on dry paint, and then use it as a drying aid going forward, so it doesn't take much effort. It probably only lasts a few weeks to a month outside, but if you wash the car every other week and use this as a drying aid, it probably will be okay. I would use a leaf blower to dry, that way you arent diluting this stuff to much with the water on the car.

It is very slick (on my coated Camaro) and the shine is really good.

This stuff is basically like Beadmaker, except it doesn't dust as bad.

Edit: Ugh, just noticed that the OG product is $10 more per gallon... This product is actually blended by B&B blending and it is also sold as Extreme Solutions Topper. I have bought from them as well. I was trying to support OG instead due to other things, but I can't not point this out considering it is so much cheaper for the same product at Extreme Solutions.

I have excellent results using Turtle wax hybrid ceramic 3 in 1
as a drying agent when wiping down after a hand wash in the driveway.
Give it shot, only $15

I used gtechniq c2v3 which can be bought at amazon on both of my kids cars which sit outside, the results were amazing, both for gloss and water beading

So far has been on for about 6 months and both cars still look good

The Megs Hybrid Ceramic Wax is what I use also. Water beading is pretty insane.

I've used 303 Graphene and had great results. Water beads like crazy and it lasts a while.

Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Wax applied like a spray wax is the best bang I have found for the $ and effort. Turtle Wax Ceramic is by far the most hydrophobic but is more difficult to get all the streaks out when drying. Both will do what you want.

Most any Si02 spray on ceramic coating will provide great results for what you are looking to accomplish. Chemical Guys is sold at Walmarts now so you can grab a quality product there now.

TW Seal N’ Shine or Meguiars Hybrid Ceramic Spray. Both are simple to use and work well. I use both on my wife’s car. I use BeadMaker on my SS as a topper since my car is coated and I wash it weekly. It does attract dust, but is less prone to streaking on my stripes.
