installed. Going through learning procedure. Mine only would only go up to 3500 rpm though. Just shipped my core back too.

Thanks. That is normal, revs/throttle are limited when in parking, some make it closer to 4000 rpm.

You got it brotha. It’s a no go for me this weekend, have to work.

I’ll let you know when I get the throttle body hooked up and ready to go.

Mike (from Soler), could you please elaborate on the detailed procedure/steps involved in completing step #3 of the re-learn correctly? Seems like it is a little vaguely worded and just looking for some explicit clarification on the step by step procedure involved in completing step 3. Thank you.

Got mine in early this week and installed. Still haven’t gotten through the 100 miles of re-learn, I’m at about 70 miles of driving after swapping.

Lag from a stop is gone, throttle and car is responsive every time you step on the gas. No issues with active rev match at all.

The more I’ve driven the car the better the response gets !!! Looking forward to stomping on it once the re-learn is complete.

I got my $120 refund two days after shipping the stock unit back. This is definitely worth the $270 !!

Hi dbb143, some cars have a variable (temp dependent) redline. We just wanted to make sure your engine was warm enough before revving to 4000 rpm.

So, let it idle for 3 min. In the absence of variable redline, make sure the coolant temp is at or above 180 F before revving. Then observe the rpm gauge and make sure it sweeps the rpm range without hesitation or hanging.

Mike, sorry if this question was already answered but I didn't see it...

My car already has a TM throttle body and a few other bolt-ons. I also had it tuned very thoroughly by a local professional tuner. If I put on your throttle body, do I still follow the re-learn procedures you described, or would/should I get the tune updated by my tuner?

Hi, MtnYankee. Our modified TB's work for the stock tune, your custom tune must have brought the calibration even closer to enhanced TB's, or at the very least, left as it was at low/part throttle. I couldn't say with 100% certainty, but chances are it will work. It has so far for many other custom-tuned cars, and you have nothing to lose by trying.

Thanks,

Highly recommend this TB... installed and completed the learning process and it is a very noticeable difference over the stock TB. I +1 all of the great reviews above.
