Huh?
Middle console..we have that?
I use it to hold my glock 19 as I drive to work, and then again as I drive home, since the holster and seat bolster have a conflict with each other.

My umbrella is in the larger storage area (aka rear seats) with my jacket.

I'm enjoying this thread.

The center console on these cars is definitely a joke and serves little to no purpose.
Granted I don't need to store any CD's like I sometimes did with my 2010, it was still nice that with the 5th Gen, I did have a place that I could put small items instead of letting them fly around inside the car.

I have an M&M Minis tube full of quarters (perfect size), small bottle of advil, registration/insurance paper, a pen, small notepad.... and that's it at the moment.

I wish that our My Link screen would drop down like what the Vettes have. That would be awesome..... and where my gun would stay.

I am not sure why some people complain about the storage in these cars. I understand some people need more than others. Especially for me as a minimalist. But I have IPhone charger, wheel lock nut, pen, wallet, phone, gum, wireless Beats for gym, sun glasses and still have a little room to spare. Plus there is still the glove box on the passenger side for more stuff like insurance papers, napkins, etc.

I know everyone's storage needs are different. But this works just fine for me.

Agreed. I keep phone, wallet (slim card holder one), and sunglasses. Only I kinda wish the car had was a separate sunglasses holder. But not a huge deal.

The center console is just so long, so opening/closing...it's like you gotta move out of the way, lol.

YES!! I would LOVE to see a more accessible place for sunglasses!

From what I understand, it's not hard at all with those to break windows, just hold it up against the window and pop it, and glass breaks.

Well in my new 2019 there is no home link so I will be keeping my garage door opener in there.
