Coolant temperature sensor location on V6
I’ve consumed so much time already looking for this damn thing. Nothing online, i dont know which side its on.
Anyone had the pleasure of changing out their sensor recently and know where it is |

Here ya go. #17 in the pic. Haven't done it but hopefully you only have to pull the intake manifold.

Well, I almost changed it, but you'll need some type of crow's foot wrench because I could not reach it properly with the wire on it and the tight space.

Yeah it sure looks like you gotta make or buy a slotted tool. A standard straight crow's foot probably won't cut it. Taking a dremel or disc cutter to a deep socket is probably the cheapest route (assuming you own the dremel/cutter).
Something like either of these, but the deep socket is probably better IMO. Not sure of the size. |

I decided to take mine out the plastic and the more I look at it the more I feel I should’ve opened the package first lmao
Looks like you can unclip the wire from the sensor and then take the sensor out, the sensor is 15mm from my fitments. Definitely a deep socket as I barely got it in with this regular one. The clip is only on one side of the sensor. Though I still think it’ll be a tight fit, maybe some long needle nose pliers to assist.
