Rear offset

Can I run a 20x11 ET40 (305/30/20) in the rear of a Camaro Ss

I’m running 20x10 ET43 (305/30/20) on the back of my SS. Having the wheel sit 3mm (ET40) closer to the sheet metal on my car wouldn’t cause an issue at stock height. Lowered and that 3mm might cause an issue.

I don’t see that as an issue on your SS.

My car measures about .75” lover then the new ones we had here

Thank you. When I measured the 40 only sits little in from the front ET 20 wheel
So the ET40 made more sense but there must be a reason gm used a ET43?
