How did they fill them? Just mud them up? I know when I worked in a couple body shops about 15 years ago they used to plastic weld some stuff. Im not a fan of just packing the holes full of mud, it will crack and fall out soon enough as the plastic flexes/expands and contracts with temperature change.

I pulled the rear wheels/tires off this morning and took them in to get the new tires put on. Spent the rest of the day on washing, paint correction, and wax. Looks pretty damn good right now. Of course it’s windy as hell out today so after all that paint work I’m not going to take it out and drive it in a dust storm
Hopefully this week I can get it out and drive it. The weather is supposed to be awesome late in the week.

Oh man, that Blue is looking GREAT. Good job on that bracket delete. Kinda feel sorry for the two plate state folks.

I have been knocking that idea around.
Not sure what kind of horror show I will find behind there and kicking myself for letting the dealer install the front one.

Where are you buying the plugs btw?

Yea no kidding. The delete was on my list of things to do for a while. Finally got around to it. I love how much cleaner is looks.

I ordered from here.

https://bumperplugs.com/bumperplugs/bumperplugs-for-gm

Surprisingly my front bumper paint wasn’t chewed up bad at all just a little on the top edge of where the bracket rested. There’s a very slight indention in the bumper cover along the drivers side outer edge where the bracket was that you can see if you know what to look for. If it wasn’t my car I would NEVER even notice it was there. The paint cleaned up pretty good with the buffer. I was pretty much expecting a repaint before I took it off.

Uh-oh. Now you're going to have to shoot a new spec line photo. The tasks never end, LOL!

Swapping garage parking spots, going into C5 HPDE prep mode and figured I'd do a couple snap-shots of these machines. Great day for photos!
