Changes By Year for Gen6? - Page 2

This could be my own interpretation, but I also feel as if they changed the tune so the exhaust crackles and pops more on the 2019+ models. I have a MY 2020 LT1 M6 and it really pops. Does anyone know if they did something to increase the exhaust sound?

On all the NPP exhausts

Yes they purposely tuned in the deceleration hemagerbles.

The exhaust crackle is definitely more pronounced on my 20.

I drove all of these with NPP set to track so I can vouch for it.

Rally Green is the best IMO

I like the front most of all. It looks like a stealth fighter jet in 1LE trim. Afterburner taillights and all!

Some Colors were available on certain years only. Like hyper blue metallic, shock, orange and ice blue. Also, the 1le option was offered in 2017 as a 1ss only , starting in 2018 they were available as 2ss as well and in 2021 they are available with an automatic transmission.

Krypton Green (2017) and Rally Green (2020) were one year colors.

Color-graded years in production on the right, I wouldn't say the color codes are exactly the same as in person. I used photoshop to eyedropper it from paintscratch.com into a hex format lol

Blue Velvet Metallic (2016) too, I guess include Rapid Blue and Vivid Orange until next year lol
