Hi, I purchased a set of OEM ZL1 rims with tires mounted on them, Can I just swap these on or do i need to program the sensors? I was going to take just the rims and tires to the shop to have balance checked. Thanks

Yes you will need to relearn the tire monitors.

Its so easy to do on a Camaro on a Pontiac G8 its a PITA.

Do yourself a big favor and go to Amazon and buy a $13 reprogrammer. It's worth every dime! Did mine on Sunday and it took 2 minutes.

So i finally got around to putting the rim/Tires on the car, I did not get any messages saying they were not reading, I checked the display and everything seems good, the front left was reading less then I thought I had it sat with the tire gauge so i will have to double check that, the Other three tires all were with in a pound.

Re programed all of the Sensors and they now match my gauge exactly.

Do yourself a favor, check your tire pressures with a manual gauge because the dash numbers will be off by about a pound or so when cold/warm. Like if your dash says 33 cold, they will read 34 at the tire, and 35 warm on the dash they will read 36 at the tire. Good luck..

I don't rely on the Car Gauge, I was just surprised that it matches my High end Tire gauges, Usually they don't match 100% on most cars.

Nope, I don't either! Just use them for a quick refference, I always check with a good dial manual gauge.

Man these Goodyear G2 Tires sure do kick up rocks, Other wise I really like them after I get heat into them.
