Awesome! Curious to find out how often he rotated the rims. The wear seems very good!

Like he said, Just a mold like. Rotate is usually after each day depending on track type and how much time you have on track. Abrasive track with a lot of tight turns you make not make it 1 day, unless you're do a 2nd day and then it should balance out after rotating. A nice smooth track like COTA or ECR can make 1 day no problem. May have helped to do the 1st heat cycle on them and then let them cure for a week or more like its recommended to do.

Ya, i understand the idea behind rotating rires
I was curious to find out how often did ya rotate the specific ones you took a pic of. After each day? Or more often? Thank you!

Thanks! Looks like an uber set up. When i used to run dot slicks on my c5z id always heat cycle them before a first track outing. Nothing overly scientific, just a run on local secondary roads to get heat into them progressively at first, then do some acceleration and braking runs without wheel spin or lockups. Then id dismount them and let em cure for 24hrs. Sometimes id do it at the track, taking it easy on a first run, then letting them rest till the next session. The whole idea seems to be not to heat shock the compound the very first time.
Anyhow, congrats on your set up! Looks like Provoste knew what he was doing Cheers!

Wish I had been there! Next time you could try gradually adding more speed through the right hand sweeper after the back straight leading into Diamond's Edge each session.

Once I figured out that you can carry 100mph through there with some maintenance throttle (with the track alignment) I started rapidly catching up to tons of cars in that spot. I think 103 was my fastest through that turn but the back felt a bit squirrelly (and there are speed bumps in the runoff on the left) so I leave a few mph as margin now.

That is a huge difference, I’ll definitely need to see if I can pick up speed through that corner. I’d imagine to hit that you leave it in 4th through the sweeper and downshift 4-3-2 braking for diamonds edge?

Yes you can see how I did it at around 1:20 here:
https://youtu.be/sJpOoawea_U

If you look at the g meter from your video you were pulling around 0.8g through there versus around 1.1Xg through some other corners which is one way to look for turns where you may be able to go faster. Track camber or lack thereof may allow you to pull slightly more/less Gs through certain corners.

NA 1LE

Got to go to Sebring yesterday with PDG.. Though the event was required to be "COVID-proofed" (had to wear a mask when you were NOT in your car..WTF,over?), the day was still a blast! It felt good to be back out on the track!

Looks like a great track! I have heard it is bumpy though...how does it feel in the Camaro and what Magnetic Ride setting did you use? Also what did you think of PDG compared to other groups you have run with (if any)? I am hoping to do their August 1st Sebring event. Do you know if any/all run groups typically sell out before their events?
