I am sure it will happen. But it wont be just the car, or the sticky tires, but the driver that will make it happen.
I've lost count of all of the folks in "faster / quicker" cars [that I passed or they could not catch me] that ask me how do I like my ZL1, and that was before I put the ZL1 1LE nose on the car.

That's exactly my point.

Made it back to MSRH! Kept it off of the grass this time with just one low speed save.

1st time back at COTA since June and 1st time on the square 305 G3R tires setup = 4.6 seconds faster than my previous best. Took some time to adjust to the difference in handling. Faster through the corners meant higher top speeds but I could still brake deeper and was actually coming up short in some places. Lap was not perfect so I'm sure there's more time to be had.

Great lap Mike! 4.6 seconds faster is like an entirely different race class. Nice work!

Same here only it's C5 Z06 and C7GS, BMW M2/4 along with the occasional Porsche owner. Every one of them thinks I'm shoeing a ZL1/ZLE, no doubt you've seen "the look" when you tell them it's a SS 1LE... priceless!

And since no GT4 has ever passed me either: here's to our cars! Cheers!
So true and for me, at this point it's all about having fun and de-stressing.

Ya folks usually inspect tires very closely looking for slicks and then ask about mods et al. Of course i always reply "oh yeah!". Then add "alignment and brake fluid"

Looks like we have reached the same point in our "careers". Here's to de-stressing and bags of fun!

I usually like having a faster car to chase, in this case I think the faster car was chasing me! It was my 2nd run of the day on the new setup so not my best laps yet, still lots of fun! Also my rear mic was not working so stuck with the PDR sound.
