Watching a Video on the Infotainment Screen
Hooked up my iphone to the apple car play and it worked well. I also wanted to test the media viewer and downloaded a video to a USB flash drive. You can watch movies and view photos when parked:

Most excellent. I was just thinking today "why can't we watch dvd's on these systems when parked"?
This is close enough. Can we stream video through iPhone? Or does it have to be downloaded content?

I assume you can watch something downloaded on the phone.
I think I also saw a youtube app icon when we were going through the Apple Car Play. |

oh man... So I'm guessing if I hook up my iPhone... And we could use youtube.. Can it play videos for like the passenger to watch while I drive? That would be awesome! My little sisters would love this

As far as I know the videos have to be on a usb thumbdrive and of 720p quality. Might of had to be mp4 also. I know Sledgehammer made a video. I'll link it when I find it.
