Need a part that the GM dealership can not find a part number for

Wondering if anyone has any suggestions besides the obvious one for my situation:

Have the optional fuel door on my Camaro, and I have somehow lost 1 of the 6 screws and nuts that hold the cover of the fuel door on. Checked with the dealership to see if I could just order the screw and nut, but the dealership can only find a part number for the entire fuel door.

It looks like my only option is to order the entire fuel door again, which I'd really like to try and avoid. Thought about maybe sourcing the screw and nut, or even the fuel door, from a junk yard, but that may be like looking for a needle in a haystack. If anyone has any other suggestions, or tips and tricks to getting that screw and nut from GM somehow, I would sure appreciate learning something new.

So I assume you mean these:

They just look like (black) torx flat head screws from what I can tell. They sell those online at various places, even Amazon:

https://www.amazon.com/Glvaner-M5-0-...ts_id=16403531

Just need to confirm the size.

Take one off and head down to Ace Hardware, Lowe's or Home Depot and go to the specialty screw drawers.

This might help. GRAINGER has been very helpful to me in the past. I have bought from FASTENAL as well.

If you find something close you could replace them all so they would match
