EBC Bluestuff pads performed well at a hot track day
Recently I had another thread, titled "V6 1LE brakes - any aftermarket options?" I ended up going with EBC Bluestuff pads, which are available for both base V6/I4 and 1LE cars. I drove the car hard at the Streets of Willow track, on a hot 98 degree day, and they performed consistently.
I got a mix of Centric rotors - high carbon plain on the front, and high carbon cryo on the rear (what I could find). One track day on rotors doesn't tell a lot, but they seem good so far. I was also happy with my tires, Falken Azenis RT660, and they held up well but lost some grip after several hard laps (as expected in such heat), but the pads never seemed to fade. |

Ncie to hear, we don't get much EBC talk on the boards and I'm only known of the brand from watching the PowerNation channel programming where they seem to be sponsored by EBC. Most of the talk there is the yellow pads and I really couldn't stick that yellow pad on my car lol

Bluestuff is billed as a step above Yellowstuff for track use. However, Bluestuff has been quiet for me on the street, not squeaky like I experienced with Hawk HP Plus pads. Bluestuff seems like a very good dual-purpose street & track pad.
