Install a phone mount to dash without damage?
I have a NiteIze Steelie phone mount I’d like to install on the dash above my infotainment display but I’m worried the tape may leave a permanent mark on the dash if I were to remove it. Anyone have any suggestions or thoughts on how to avoid leaving a mark or experience to suggest how likely it is to be an issue?

Try this instead. No tape needed. Mounts behind the display. You do have to remove the unit ,but it’s very easy to do with included instructions. Takes no more than 10 minutes to install.
