Think I found a good deal on Mobil1 0W-40 ESPx3 at AutoZone - Page 3

Just purchased the following:
0w40 ESP x3 Mobil 1 x 20 quarts - $109.60
K&N KN-152 Filters x 4 - $58.40
+ tax $14.49

= total $182.45

I hope I can get refunded the $63.42 for the filters, to bring the total down to $119.03 for 20 quarts of Mobil 0w40 x3

Yep still seems to be working.
Going to have a lot of filters to return to Auto Zone though.

I threw in a couple gallons of oil for my truck and use the "survey10" code for another $10 off.

Yeah...I feel like I should add a few more oil changes worth into the cart and just store the oil until as-needed...I'll be going through it quickly.

When I click on the link, the deal is now a little different. 5 quarts of oil, and an STP oil filter (no shop towels) for $38.99, good through October 18th. Not quite as good a deal as previously, but still a fantastic price for the oil. And if I can return the filters for full retail value, which is what happened with my earlier online order, so much the better. Debating ordering another 15 quarts to go with the 15 I currently have sitting in the garage.

The guys on the 6th gen Camaro Facebook forum are saying that the ESP x3 is not the right oil for the Camaro? However it is listed on the Dexos 2 website as approved...

They are wrong when it comes to use in the V8 Camaros.
0W40....check
Dexos 2...check

That is all that needs to be known.
Some guys are overthinking it.

If it's the same thread on FB I'm thinking about, I'm the one that posted the picture with the boxes of oil. Holy hell did that post turn into a dumpster fire.

If it's the wrong oil, I'm cool with making the mistake of buying the wrong oil. However, with that said, don't just put up a bunch of laughing emojis, say it's wrong, post a bunch of condescending messages, and offer NO information as to *why* it is wrong. That pisses me off to no end.

As far as I can tell, it's an approved oil.
