It does. No problem. I enjoyed your video and Que's too. I have to say I agree with you that I don't I think I would order Rapid Blue on another trim level. The color is sort of overwhelming without some contrast. The 1LE offers the right amount of contrast with the satin black hood, front spoiler and rear spoiler. I've already ordered a set of 1LE black rock guards and ZL1 style side skirts for my car from ACS Composites. I plan to install those as soon as it arrives.

I was contemplating on should I get side skirts or not. I may pull the trigger on them BUT I don’t want to drill into the car like I did my old ones lol. I have some rock guards on order too.

I understand not wanting to drill into the car, but I consider them to be like the side skirts that come on the ZL1. I understand that is how they are mounted. Once I put them on I don't plan on taking them off.

From what I've seen, the only way to avoid that with an SS is to change out the rocker panels to their ZL1 counterparts (and adjust the front fenders with a spacer kit), as those have the side skirts integrated.

The issue here is a factory part needs to be painted, which may cause color matching issues, or you have to scour sites for smurf blue ZL1 rockers from wrecks or parted out cars.

Any other part, be it GM or aftermarket, will require drilling for rivets or using self-tapping screws on the SS, unless you just want to stick them on with 3M tape, which I wouldn't trust at all, think about a passenger accidentally stepping on it.

Yeah looks like I’m not going to be doing that changing out the rocker panels and front fenders just for some side skirts. I guess I’ll come to the conclusion sooner or later to drilling rivets into the car or enjoy it as is without them. It makes me wonder why GM didn’t add them on the SS 1LEs only but added them on the ZL1s

I agree, I been checking in waiting for new rapid blues and it’s only been a few after me…unless there is some that don’t have camaro6 accounts :/

Traded in my 2020 1SS in riverside blue on 7/26 and immediately ordered a rapid blue 1SS 1LE. Took delivery on 11/18. Couldn't be happier with my decision to upgrade

Yes, Rapid Blue and Black is an awesome color combination. Even better in person. Since I picked up my car I've added ACS Composite rock guards and side rockers in 1LE black that really stand out against the Rapid Blue. I sent some pictures to ACS since they didn't have a Rapid Blue car on their website and they now have them posted under their side rockers.

I was watching your drive home video and I had a good laugh when you said “AMC movie theatre mode” when your exhaust was popping.

I’m ordering a 1LE but with A10 trans. Good video of your dealer ordering process.
