Very comfortable. Did 6 hours road trip - no sweat or calling a doctor.

Get the Recaros and I think you will be happy with them!

Probably due to the cost factor!

The recaro seats are great imo… just did a 1200 mile trip in my ZLE and they were more comfortable than what I had expected. The cooling feature is great as well!

Before I bought the ZL1, we visited a dealership and made sure the Recaros would be comfortable for my wife and me. We made a couple of long-distance drives of 1200 miles or more each time the seats were fine.

I love mine in my 1SS. I am 5’ 11” 172. My wife is not to keen on them though. She prefers the cushy captains chairs in my truck.

The worst seats were in my old Wrangler and a Chrysler mini van that I rented for a road trip with my wife’s family.

i'm a taller guy 6'3" and they make the car way better to sit in. the cloth seats sit you higher i think? when i was looking at cars i sat in a lt1 with cloth seats and my head was a 1\2" from the roof and in my 1le i have at least 2".

Highly recommended, I have them in my LT1. It’s the only option that I REQUIRED when looking for my car. I’ve been on short trips and longer trips…no complaints. My dad has a LT1 with the regular seats. I drove it home from the dealer which was 110 miles away…I couldn’t wait to get out of his car and get back in mine! The recaros are a no brainer in my opinion.

My first Camaro was a 2019 1SS that I got new, the cloth was ok on short drives but uncomfortable on road trips for me. When I ordered my 2022 1SS Redline I purposely had gotten Recaro’s especially since they were a $1,500-$1,600 add on versus what they cost to add later on, I was much happier with the Recaro’s than the standard cloth for sure. Plus when you get Recaro’s added on your build the rear seats are the 2SS Leather.

I am 6', long body build, 250#, they are really too much for racing. I wish there was an in between seat.

I'm good with the Recaros. Now, I'm not fixing to drive it straight through to Florida or anything like that. But I did drive my 2016 Z06 straight through from Charlotte to Florida (500 miles) and had zero problems with those Recaros either.

Personally, I preferred the seats in my SS over the Recaros. They're not bad but the side bolsters don't allow my upper back to sit against the back of the seat. If they were a little lower like the old Recaro LS-C's, they'd be perfect. But really it's a highly individual preference. Try them out beforehand if you can.
