To flexfuel owners...

I checked my ethanol content after filling up with 91 at chevron in cali out of curiosity, and I got e20 according to the gauge. Can cali people confirm this is what you are getting, or at least 15% Ethanol from the 91 pump? FYI... i have been running pump 91 for 2 months now?

Personally when I fill up with 91 it comes out to 9.4-9.8% ethanol. Southern California area

Typically In Texas we call FLEX FUEL, E85 and my trusty gauge tells me that it is really around 79-80% Ethanol. As you know it DEFINITELY burns at a faster rate (about 30% faster than GAS).

both of you guys have valid responses. Thought my bluetooth module took a crap, but I connected to hp tuners scanner and it said e18. I guess that's whats i picked up at a chevron i filled 91 up at. Maybe they used e85 in gas tank prior to filling up with 91? Oh well, i'm tuned for flexfuel anyways. Im just surprised...
