Finally got the allocation

Just got word from my dealer that they got the allocation this week and my order has finally been submitted as of this morning.

Original order date: 02/23/16.

The anticipation is only getting stronger!

As Regan said, "trust but verify" - get the GM workbench report showing a 2000 code to be sure, also it will show you they did not miss an option you asked for. More than once a car comes in with the wrong tranny because nobody checked the order.

I have the original GM WorkOrderBench report that I signed off on. I confirmed with the dealer today that it still has the same order number. Exactly what they told me was; my original order (which I verified) was placed in a "que", once the allocation came through, the order would automatically be picked up from the "que". I specifically asked the sales manager of they had to "rebuild" the order in GM WorkOrderBench, he said "no, it was all ready there and gets picked up automatically".

They can send you a PDF copy of the latest Workbench status, which contains your current Order Status code. This is what I've asked my dealer to do a few times to keep them honest.
