People that have replaced stock Goodyears

Hey everyone. I’m looking for pics of zl1s with stock sized non goodyear tires. The reason I ask is because I recently purchased a set of pirelli pzero pz4 sport rears. They look too small. The tire is stretched on the wheel and the overall height is shorter. I want to make sure the next tire I choose will fit properly.

Did you not purchase the same tire size?

The Pilot Sport 4S is an excellent daily driver and doesn't have the rounded sidewall/edge look some Pirelli's have. Plus the lip protrusion protecting the wheel is rather sturdy to prevent minor curb scuffs (don't ask how I know)

The stock GY SC3s are pretty wide (and have a square shoulder) for the spec'd size, so it's not surprising that other tires look smaller. I have a set of R888Rs, in 285/315 on stock wheel sizes, and that stack of four is noticeably shorter than the stack of four stock GYs.

This thread is exactly why I'm considering going with a PS4S 295 front and 315 rear. Thinking I'll have to run a wheel spacer (3mm front, 5mm rear) to avoid any problems. Although... the pics you posted Hawk have now got me reconsidering the whole thing.

I'm running a 295 front in Bridgestone RE980AS all season with no fitment issues.

That’s what it is. The shoulder on these pirellis is round instead of square. But it also seems shorter. I got a set of ps4s and going to mount them tomorrow. Will post a pic.

My car just arrived at the dealer.
I went with 2015 Z28 rims with 325/30R19 rear and 305/30R19 fronts.
