ZLE tires & wheels on ZL1

Anyone put OEM ZL1 1LE wheels and tires on their ZL1? Thinking about doing it. Like the looks and extra tire ...

I'm running the OEM z28s which are pretty much the same spec, my rears stick out like 2mm more. But I have had no issues with the factory street alignment.

To the OP: the 1LE wheels are too wide due to your mag ride shocks.

I'm sure a few others will give you options like the Z/28 wheels and some of the replica wheels that are designed to fit your car.

...and Welcome to the forum

I like the Z28 wheels much better than what is on my ZL-1. IMHO, they are too busy and a Pain the in aXX to clean.

Sarcasm misses it's mark with a brand new member and still breaks forum rules.

Maybe take a little time a post up one or two of those many threads.

Here's a good one.

I appreciate your response. I started to reply to Torquem but thought better of it.

I did not know that they would not fit and that is exactly the kind of information I was looking for when I posted.

Thanks

Craig

Yes, many threads. You'll likely need a 5mm spacer if you track align it or a 3mm without. Although its a good idea to consider lightly grinding the magride shock support. See these threads for greater detail and others that chime in about spacers, size, etc.
