FTI converter no more shudder

Bought the car about 2 months ago. It had 14,800 miles on it. I soon realized it had the dreaded A8 shudder of death. I'm unwilling to sit back and wait on GM to get their head out of their ass and make things right. All while they dick around experimenting with flushes, only to be put off until 2019 sometime.

I first experimented with tuning it with HP TUNERS and made it better. But I was worried that maybe the shudder could lead to more problems.

Fast forward to this weekend. New FTI 3200 stall converter installed, all lines & cooler flushed. New filter and pan gasket and fresh fluid.

Have driven the car about 50 miles so far. First impression = WOW. Gets out of the hole quicker and no signs of any shudder.

I didn’t see any 8L90 options on the FTI website. Any insight on FTI vs Circle D (or others)?

Yeah FTI has them. I seen them post a add for them somewhere. Both companies make great products don't think you can go wrong either way I had a FTI in my 4th gen and loved it....exceptional customer service.
