Transmission Temp Message LT V6
Hi,
Today coming back from a 20 mile trip the digi speedometer read 'Transmission level too high 172 degrees'. By the time I got home it read 174 degrees. The car hadn't been driven much lately and has 3076 miles. No leaks under the car. Any ideas? Thanks! |

Highest I've seen on my V6 is about 135, but the outside temp was about 50. What temp is this occurring at?

I would check to make sure it has fluid. Then I would change the fluid. I would use redline D6.

That doesn't seem normal. Were you driving fast / high RPM / heavy load?

Thanks moderators for moving this thread to the abyss. Now I don't expect to get any answers.
