1LE much faster than ZL1

I did not know that the 1LE is 13 seconds faster around Nurburgring and almost 4 sec faster than ZR1

I recall the crew chief for this 1LE discussing this lap and explaining that it was made from the pits without benefit of a hot lap and that the time was equivalent to 7:13.

That's cool and all, but that Donkervoort, unf! a 7:14.9 in 2006. Those are badass little cars. I applied to go to work for them once, but they weren't hiring from outside the country.

That response was priceless!

I, too, am happy the ZLE did so well at Nurburgring. For what it is, that’s an amazing accomplishment. Sure, other cars are faster. But none at this price point.

And they still haven't run the A10 ZLE at the ring yet right? At least someone officially going for a record.

I was considering a ZLE when I just got rid of my Callaway, but I wanted to try a C6Z and the right deal came along for way less money than any ZLE. Perhaps the next car after this one, we shall see.

No thanks. We would have to hear Russia collusion crap all day!

I mentioned this lap time difference because it seems like someone asks about whether the 1LE or ZL1 is the faster car everyday here. The difference surprised me.

Which tire to buy is probably the most popular topic here. The Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 set most of the lap times and the Pirelli P Zero set the rest.

Might try the Cup 2 next time.

Hmmm Trump and hear the libs crying or Coronavirus and Joe ruining the country? I'll still take 4 years ago.

No one questions which car is faster on the track, everyone knows that's what the ZLE was made for. The ZL1 is actually the faster car and the better everyday car. Since you mentioned tires, throw the ZLE wheels and tires on the ZL1 and watch the majority of that 13 seconds disappear.
