Launch Control

Does the 19 1SS 1LE have launch control. If so, how do you access it?

The 2019+ SS is different, it has the configurable launch control with line lock backported from the ZL1, see https://youtu.be/05LMGXh-nXU for details (the car in the video is not a 1LE, but I don't think that matters here).

I think that is only on the automatic. I do not think the M6 has this.

That’s what I thought too. Just not sure how to do it with the manual 2019 1LE

I have a 19 SS 1LE (M6 of course). It works just like it says in Rhobz's post. You have to manage slip with the clutch, while the car controls the throttle for you. It is not adjustable on the manual cars. I imagine there is some perfect surface where it works great, but on the street it applies too much throttle for me. I am quicker without launch control.

Oh, sorry about it then, I stand corrected. So then only the A10 cars have this feature, along with, I presume later MY automatic 1LE cars. How strange that GM would do this...

track mode
hold traction control down until the ptm menu comes up
go down to race
make sure to firmly apply the brake before flooring it (with clutch disengaged)
mat accelerator and manipulate clutch to your liking while seeing 100% tps

the car will rev up to around 3k and hold it if you did everything right

You won't burn the clutch. It works just fine. It's just slow.

Gives very consistent RT's, but bad 60'.

I used it as a 'training wheels' kinda system during my 1st ProSolo.

My wife and I now run 'all off' and she consistently gets RT's in .6 range.

Maybe when he says "with clutch disengaged" you are misinterpreting. This means clutch pedal pushed in.

Yeah I can't read, tested it and it works, no specific notification but holds around 3k rpm
