Tune needed?

Warranty expired, going to start modding. I'm planning on starting with the lt2 intake, 95 mm tb and Rotofab CAI. Would I be OK without a tune? I've read that these mods will cause it to run lean up top.

You absolutely need a tune if you want to take advantage of the mods. Don’t fool around with it.

Agreed, I would also suggest a total mod "checkpoint" so you don't blow your wad on tune adjustments, aka, shop for all your bolt ons and tune only one time. Makes more sense to buy all your bolt ons first, before installing and tuning.

...or at least do it in "coarse stages" instead of a single mod+tune each time.

Honestly, it's a bit hard to figure out the best and final state from stock right away, so doing this one time only isn't realistic, unless one is super experienced and know themselves very well.
