Superchargers?
So i have some questions about this kit https://treperformance.com/i-2389983...75ax-2-9l.html
What would be the best fuel systems for this supercharger to get the most power out of it? Is this the best supercharger kit out there for the price or is there a better one for little cheaper? If you could provide links to the fuel kit it would be much appreciated!! |

LT4 fuel system. Which is the best supercharger......you’ll get several different opinions.

Also.....If you have a 1LE, you already have the low side pump.

I'd throw in a voltage booster as well to make sure the LPFP can keep the pressure stable no matter what: https://www.jmschip.com/electric-fuel-pump-p2000gmp2/

Not to be negative but is it worth all those mods when you could sell yours and get a zl1 with factory reliability?

I only need a couple of # more boost, say 50bhp. Can I get that out of the stock unit?

I don't want to hijack the thread, but this is a (sort of) related question: Are there any aftermarket supercharged guys doing track days on road courses? How does the engine perform with 20+ minutes of hard driving over four or more sessions? Any cut back in power? Just thought I'd ask for any information from those who have done this.

The lt1 pistons hate boost. I would barely trust them on a weekend supercharged car. No way in hell I’d track a boosted 1le with stock pistons

Misinformation...I've got an LT4 unit with 7000 miles covered this season - pretty happy with the 200 HP increase for low cost install thanks to Jannetty tune (more power than I can handle right now!):
Also, an SS is faster on the topend than a ZL1 (190 mph vs 175). :-)

I always run e50 - e60 on the track to keep things cool.
