Dash logic
It's me again😂🍺
2013 M6 ZL1 I've had a dash logic since I bought my car 2 years ago. I just finally got around to installing the flex fuel sensor tonight. The car has not been tuned yet. I don't see the pid for displaying alcohol (ethanol) content in the dash logic menu. Is this only available after it's tuned? I'm taking it to the tuner next week and I wanted the feature available to help them out and avoid any delays |

They have to turn the ethanol parameter on in the ecu first

Did you try playing around with the settings on the dash logic? It should technically read how much ethanol is in the gas. Even if it's minute amount.

I did. I connected it to my computer and put it in config mode. The PID for alcohol content was not even present. I thought it should be there since it's just reading the signals the car is putting out. Without ECM having been tuned for E I would think it would just display zero.
