Chipped pads. Ok?
Just received these rear pads from Amazon… two out of the four pads had decent size chunks of the pad material gone. Would these be ok to run? I think I’m going to have them send another set and hopefully they are not damaged. But they most likely will be if they send them the same way that they did again. Pretty pitiful package job.

Realistically they would be fine for road use but not for the track, but I would definitely return them or get a different brand. No way those are acceptable from a quality perspective though.

Unfortunately the OEM pads tend to come wrapped in paper with lots of room to slide around in the box and chip/gouge each other. I have run slightly gouged front pads on track without any issues in the past but I would return those chipped rear pads.

Yes thanks for the advice. They for sure come packaged terrible. I did initiate another set to be sent. Hopefully the new set has at least two good pads in there

Unfortunately this happens with the stock pads when you buy new sets. Send them back, the next set will likely be OK. They should packaged them better.
