E2 Catch can on the road course.

Is this specific catch can working for you? Mine fills up before the 30 minute session at NCM is over. Curious what others are doing.

I have the inlet going to the center port on can. One exit goes to intake tube. Other exit goes to vacuum line. Check valves pointed away from can.

Elite just sent me directions. Wish I had those at time of install. Directions say to transfer O rings from stock PVC valve to their diverter. Pretty sure I didn't do that. Didn't know at the time.

That sounds like how I have mine configured:

Also did a quick overview video of everything:

I run the E2-X Ultra can version.

Which one do you run? Have a photo?

I don't road course but do a lot of regular driving mixed in with hard driving and it doesn't fill up crazy or anything.

Just saw you wrote this as I was writing my post, lol.

But yeah, def need the O-rings on the PVC valve diverter. Seems obvious when looking at it so maybe you did so and just don't recall?

I used your video as a reference for install. Mines hooked up the same. Even bought the quick disconnect fittings. I don't have a picture handy.

I didn't get any oil from the dyno or thrashing the car up and down the highway. I am thinking the extreme g forces on the road course cause the oil to pool and get sucked in. But that's just a theory.

Looking at the directions they sent me, the diverter had the o rings already installed. lol. I am taking it off in a few days. I will find out if I have O rings or not.

Ok... good luck! Is it the Ultra can?

I also noticed on their website it appears they sell quick connectors directly now, lol

It also looks like they sell a "restrictor" maybe something like that would help.

Once you double check O rings in place (they probably are), you can see what Elite recommends from there.

Love that Ultra can - best in the industry imo

?

You're getting more blowby (and you're getting ALOT) because you're on boost most of the time on track, I don't get the "oil to pool" comment - pool where? The can is supposed to keep oil out of your intake manifold

Given that the OP inquiry is about the E2 can, I'll just say that in two years my can has never had a teaspoon of oil in it.

E2 can here as well. Maybe two teaspoons tops every 3000 mile oil change.

I was just speculating. I am far from a expert on this issue.

And to the others. I get minimal oil from driving on the street. It's on track when car is typically above 3500 rpm the entire time.

Extended time on boost = more blowby

GM engines aren't exactly known for excellent ring sealing - they may be one of the worst? I'm not knocking GM it's just an all too common problem

Imagine running this motor at 24 psi like the M5 or RS3 - it would be ugly. Too bad because the power potential would be impressive (and still is with some modded cars)

Track use = lots of blow by. I can attest to the difference from street to the track has a significant difference. My auto keeps the rpm’s high the whole time I’m tracking as well as a lot of engine breaking so blow by is high.

OP, it’s warmer here in TX so I run 15/50 all the time. When running 0-40 the can would fill up nearly every session. Now I can go the whole day without it filling up.
