*spraymax 2k paint with hardener or regular enamel paint then follow up with 2k gloss or matter with the hardener either way I think it's best to use a paint w a hardener.

You could even prep the parts and take then to a paint shop and have them spray them with left overs from a job with even better hardened paint.

The lights remove easily from the frames with a solder iron. Just pull while you heat.
That is a little more involved than I hoped. Lol

My preference was to do the door ‘blades’
I originally thought wrapping it in red alcantara would look and feel great but maybe I first try painting it red. Then, if it doesn’t look good, I can wrap?!

Btw, I have a 1ss so no spectrum lights for me :(

Non lighting is 200 painted by GM..

Spectrum lighting colored is 650 in red or blk.

After supplies you would be paying 100 more I'd get the prepainted ones.

Great point. When I make the move, I’ll either wrap in red alcantara or just buy painted ones. Thanks bud.

Do you have to remove the door panel to remove the trim piece that is silver on the door? Or was that just because of the lighting?

Yes, watch the video from lethal garage to remove panel, then take white cloth material off(very easy) then it's like 8 screws and wire connector. Next if you have lighting a solder iron to heat plastic tabs while lifting to separate light bar from plastic.

The knobs you turn for temp just pry off easily, same with parts on dash cluster. The panel ac vent on the upper dash u have to take off the dash insert, and on the panel behind wheel you just pry the gap to separate the panel to get to back side of ac vents tabs. So upper ac vents have tabs to unlock from back side in other words. I want to do something about the door handles now.

Nice execution. I would have gone yellow since so much of the body is visible with the door open, but I like consistency. That said, I get how the stitching made it a difficult decision.
