You, good sir, might be correct. Let me do a Google memory check...............yessssssir you are right.

But my point stands and is only exaggerated by your correctness. The concept car was shown well before the movie.

Wow, lots of miss information here.

I have an inside source that told me that there will be familiar engine options but GM has worked some serious magic for G6. First, the 3.6L will be increased to 4.2L. They accomplished the increase by adding another cylinder, resulting in the World's first V7 engine!

For the SS perfect 50/50 weight balance has been achieved by moving two of the eight cylinders to the trunk. The ZL1 super charger will be a with a Ryobi leaf blower.

I heard a rumor on this site somewhere that we may find out more about an updated NA V6 that may also end up in the Camaro when the CT6 is displayed in New York.

The problem aluminum is its a body man's nightmare for repair unless just completely replacing the whole panel meaning more expense. My sources confirm to same 2 base engines but the v8 will be upgraded for a little more HP, but the V6 will have a twin turbo option putting out about 400hp. Even without the TT v6 option performance increase will be substantial because of the 200+ weight loss. I estimate all cars to be running stock mid 13s and below. The TT probably hi 12s, V8 probably low to mid 12s. Not to mention the z/28 or ZL1. Don't know about them.
This is sounding pretty damn good at the moment. Here's hoping for the LGW TTV6 making it into the Camaro. With the A8 or M7, and cylinder deactivation, we could see 400hp, but with mpg rivaling the ecoboost Mustang.

In '67 the Camaro got the 350 and in '69 the Vette got the 350. I think I read that the '14 Z28 did develop the carbon brakes for the Z06!

The Carbon Brakes carried over from the 2009-up ZR1 and C6 Z07 package.

wow - an old thread resurrected.

All I have to say is this:

My sister's dentist's brother's cousin's housekeeper's dog-breeder's nephew sells coffee filters to the company that provides coffee to General Motors......

........and HE WOULD KNOW!!!!

It's all conjecture until May 16th......
