ZL1 exhaust vert?
I’m trying to decide what exhaust to go with? Headers and exhaust? Cat back exhaust, axle back exhaust? I was thinking Borla atak, but not recommended verts because of rattle I was told. Vendoe recommended AEW track axle back. I would like something fairy loud. Doing a CAI also. Stock currently. Thanks!

For my 2023 ZL1 I went with CSP (made by Stainless Works) 2" headers, Ultra Flow CATs (deleted the secondary CATs), Street Engineering CAT Delete stainless exhaust/X-pipe, and Corsa Axle-Back quad 4.0" black tips. Mine sounds phenomenal and no drone, tour mode is quite as can be and track mode sounds like a beast, even has a slight bit of a lope idle sound !

With the vert, your somewhat limited on catback, or full exhaust
Because of the extra cross framing…. I installed borla axle back, Well made, relatively inexpensive, quiet on tour mode, and Quite annoying on sport mode! Last edited by Drnick; 03-13-2023 at 07:30 AM. |

I’m in this same boat minus the very part. I have a 2023 and want an exhaust, not headers at this stage, so I’m not sure which way to go. It appears as if the on,y 2 options for retaining the stock NPP is either Borla or CORSA correct? I want it very loud but want the option of having it not drone when the rare time the wife rides with me. I really want the AWE track but am afraid it will be to loud with her in the car. Thanks.

That’s good to know. I assumed the touring wouldn’t be much louder than stock. How was the drone at normal cruising speeds?

I’ve got the Touring axle-back. No other mods. When you start the car, and when you get on the throttle it is very loud. Cruising at highway speeds it’s a comfortable hum. Instead of Touring and Track, the exhausts should have been named LOUD, and HOLY F*&K. |

I ended up after the headers and high flow cats having to add MBRP resonators too. Now it’s loud but not deafening. https://youtu.be/H9Q4Ys34gCA
