Improved PDR for 2019

Lastly, the Performance Data Recorder system has been improved.

Can't seem to find any details. Anyone out there with the 411?

It's been posted a few times before but yes it's improved. It's now 1080p whereas it was 720p before.

My 2019 PDR records in 720x1280 [720p] at 30fps.

The change is that it's less of a PITA to use while in the car lol basically fast forwarding/rewinding the playback in the car actually works right now instead of it being totally screwy.

I watched a recording from a 2019 with PDR. Looked the same to me. The app is different though

one of my two gripes about the car, what is this, 2007 720p?
and then the lack of heated and cooled seats even when the seats have the dam heater and fans in them..seems like a silly waste, they should have just hooked them up.

Here here! They could have at least made it an option. As long as it was a reasonable price, I would have paid the extra. I’ll bet a lot of people with 1SS’s would have.

I believe it is standard on the 2SS. 2SS 1LE wasn’t available when I was in the market to buy.

For less than $1k, you can build a 4K SoloStorm or RaceRender setup with multiple cameras.

Minimum? 1080P 60fps. No green and purple hues plaguing the shadows and brightly illuminated areas and out of the box support for larger than 32gb cards... basically better video quality than a 5+ year old $80 throw away dash cam would be a start
