Probably known by some but new to me. 40k for a brand new 800hp mustang plus whatever option or additional add ons you want. And a 100% drag race ready 850 hp caged 10.5 sec street legal car for 60k.

Not a hp junkie here and yeah yeah the camaro is better on a road course blah blah blah.Video of you on a road course? Autox? No? Light to light racer? YEA Probably more the typical camaro owners style. I have the 2 of the 3 track based 5th gens. But for the money i paid for my 5th gen 1le i could get the 40k option and used the 3k gap in price plus 4k in mods to maybe make the stang turn a little better i think. Man i wish i didnt hate mustang owners so much maybe i wouldve gotten one back then.

VALUE. BOLDNESS. EXCITEMENT.

Not a Mustang guy, but this is only good news. That kind of power for a reasonable price. I hope they sell a billion of them and forces GM to take note that their prices are out of F-n control.

Not warrantied by Ford. The factory will not cover anything that goes wrong with that setup - never. And where do I send the videos of me on the track?

No Warranty - you are better off Modding the LS3 to those type of HP numbers. It would be better and not a Ford!

Thanks for the info. I was all in for 800hp at $40k, until I read the fine print that they only give you the parts and it is $9k to install them. Not such a bad deal if you can and don't mind DIY.

the 800 HP package is a Lebanon Ford installed Whipple kit - I doubt the rest of the Drivetrain would hold up and hence no Warranty.

A. An optional 3 year, 36,000 mile limited supplemental power train warranty is available directly from Whipple.

the 700 HP package is a Roush Car!
