I have the overflow problem. I have had it happen at different gas stations too. I even try and listen for the neck filling up but by the time I hear it, it's to late.

No problems for me either having over 11,000 miles and that's quite a number of fill ups so far.

Sounds like the gas pump has an issue not the car. There is a sensor in the nozzle that stops gas flow.

For some reason when fueling at Chevron the damn pump pops out and stops and the tank isn't full. Got to put it back in and then the same thing happens again and again..annoying as hell lol

76 Gas station pump, I haven't had this issue that I can recall.

I have experienced the same thing at Chevron up here in the Bay Area. I usually raise and hold the hose end of the nozzle while filling up and it doesn't stop. But even that is annoying to have to do.

It's funny seeing California drivers though as they are used to pumping their own & the station attendants freak out on them "Noooo!, It's against the law!"

I have experienced a partial fill on a couple of occasions, but mainly all is fine. I also think it's the nozzle & not the car design.

The pump clicks off and gas comes pouring out of the fuel fill door and under the car just behind the rear wheel. I've taken it to a dealer 3 times for the issue and they say they can never find a problem.
I have exactly this issue the pump clicks off and gas comes pouring out pf the fuel fill dorr.

Only done 4 fills and it has happened on my last 3!!!

Someone help

I have filled up roughly 10 times and have never had a issue until the last fill up. I have always used the same pump at the same gas station until the last time. I will try the original pump next time and see if it happens again.

Gas pilled out when I overfilled it trying to get every last drop in there ( I drive a ton of highway miles for work).
