Did i just buy the cheapest SS 1LE in the country?

Hey everyone been a long term lurker, had the awesome opportunity of buying a 2017 1SS 1LE last Thursday. It had 6500 miles on it, clean title rear bumper repainted from a shopping cart scratch. Looked fine to me. Sale price of $26,600. The car is immaculate no scatches, rock chips dings or dents.

Anyways i thought it was a good deal here i am 1k miles down the road and i love this car! Some typical issues i see off the bat, my front swaybar endlinks are loose or something else in the front end is clunking. As i've read its pretty common on these cars and to have the dealer tighten them up.

Launch mode, NLS, and the PTM in this car make it such a fun daily driver.

Can't wait to absorb more info from everyone here. I'd like to eventually do a HPDE here soon just need to read more about these cars.

Yeah I would say you got a STEAL of a deal. They are still selling low mileage 5th Gen SS 1LE's for that price!

Congrats!

Seller must have been in a hurry or just wanted it done with little hassle... I bet they could have traded in at the dealer for more!

Yeah that's a good price mine was 1.5 years old with only 1k miles certified with pdr. 31500

Trade in is pitiful. My buddy shopped multiple dealers with 3K miles on 18 SS 1LE with PDR - trade offers were $21K - $26K. Not saying someone can't get a bit more, but, it's a buyer's market on these.

Wow, that sucks. Guess it only matters if I sell, which I have no plans on doing. I'll just have to keep it until it starts appreciating again!

But damn... I paid $39.5k for mine. New and delivered w/o any test drives is nice but not $10k+ nice! I guess I've had the car for 1.5 years though, that counts for something, but sounds like a $45k car is down to $30k in 2 years! I'm more used to Subaru Impreza WRX/STi depreciation, which is amazing, suckers buy them used for far too much $... My '14 WRX was worth as much as I paid for it new after 2 years and 30k miles because it's a hatchback!

Look at 18 ZL1 1LE’s that were $72-74K sticker. You can find them in mid to low $50K with often only a few thousand miles. It is what it is. Enjoy it while you can.
