m/t et street

Went to the strip last weekend with 18 in et streets and didn't gain anything in my 60'. Seems like the car should have hooked up better. I don't know what the problem is. My et and trap speed were better but I still spin like crazy.

If you went to muncie I had to drop mine to 16 psi yesterday. They used absolutely no vht yesterday. There were a few top sportsman cars there. All 3 made a total of 4 passes, none more than 75% throttle.

That's where I went. Maybe it was just the track conditions. What is vht by the way?

The glue that tracks use when prepping

What's the setup on the car? What were the 60' times like? What tire setup are you comparing to from before? Not really enough info here...

Full bolt ons. my street tires are 315 35 20 Nitto 555 g2. 60' times were around 2 seconds.

Auto, I'm think of getting some 20's so I don't have to switch wheels back and forth.

An 18" drag radial should be a good deal better than the 555 G2 (which is a pretty decent hooking tire). The prep must be just awful there. The ET Street S/S is a really good hooking tire, and should be plenty for a bolt on car. Heck, I have a NT05R with a good deal more power than bolt ons and it works pretty good unless I really overdrive the tire.

Let me ask this question. On the street, if you roll the power on from a 10mph roll in 1st, does it stick or spin?
