Meguiars hybrid ceramic wax

I get a huge discount on Meguiar's products though my employer. I thought I'd share my experience with this new product. The label says with the initial application to wash and rinse the vehicle then apply the wax then dry.
It might have been because of the hot weather but the surface dryed faster than I could get to it and made it difficult to remove. When I pulled out into the sunlight I noticed a lot of smudges that had to be buffed out. I did my camaro and my wife's terrain and used almost the full bottle. I applied it to the entire vehicle including windows and wheels. Overall I'm happy with how it turned out.

The first close up photo is right after washing. The second one is the next day when I had to rinse a bunch of dead bugs off the top. I work nights and I parked under a street light.

I've tried the Mothers Ceramic spray and must say I was pleasantly surprised. Deep gloss and the water runs right off to a dry finish. You can also layer it to give a deeper shine. Recommends 24 hours between coats.

I found with the Meguiars I had the smears when I followed their instructions. I had good luck spraying and smearing the first coat, then power washing it before drying. Gloss is really good and I think some have said it improves over time. I think it does that too.

This is for the driver, Adams goes on the Camaro.

Yeah I'm going to try spraying it on a damp microfiber towel rub it in and then rinse.

I had the same experience following the directions on the bottle. I found that it works better spraying the product on a microfiber cloth and rubbing it in until its gone, no rinsing. It doesn't take much to do the whole car, couple sprays per panel. I love the stuff. Here is a pic from this past weekend after a fresh coat. Before this, i was using the mothers CMX which i also liked, but after watching many tests of people using both products, i concluded that the meguiars lasted longer.

Tried this yesterday and it worked great. No streaks and the bottle will last much longer.

I’m thinking most of these magic spray waxes are just watered down liquid waxes.

I find using good ole liquid Turtle wax and a buffer from Harbor Freight takes little time and last two to maybe three washes.

Wow, I use the Adams Americana paste wax, put it on by hand (2 coats) and it last at least 3 months or more
