How do you rate the stereo in the 1SS 1LE? - Page 3

AWFUL. I usually just keep it off, or on low with SXM just for background noise if I'm on the highway. Yes, I am big into audio, so some may not think it's as bad...

I can tell you that it is better than the stock stereo in my old base 2016 Mustang GT! It's not as good as in the 2SS, but it's not that bad

I just sold my 2017 STi base, and now looking for a 1ss 1le. I agree that the stereo in STi is the WORST.

Just pick up a 2018 2SS 1LE like I did and problem solved! Now if only the damn doors didn't rattle so much with all the awesomeness of the Bose system.

Good enough I suppose but... the Monsoon in my 2000 SS blows it away. Not sure why they didn't think stereos were important to Camaro buyers. Not impressed with the Bose in my friend's 2017 2SS either. Nothing like the Bose in other cars I've been in. Sad.

I just put a small 10” fosgate speaker and amp to give a little bass. Super small box and weighs only about 18lbs total. Sounds much better and was pretty cheap.

Had a little initially, went away with a few miles. Will continue to monitor.

Just think, it could be worse, it could be the Z/28.
